Sorry to start with an old drawing from 2011.
This the drawing from an artisan in County Fair that took place in NC in 2010, very close to Winston-Salem.
I’ve always avoided talking about myself. That’s one of the main reasons I started this blog. I’m an artist who wants to display her work but I’m also a shy person who wants to step out of her comfort zone.
Last year we had an art critique in our painting class, and one of my classmates said that my landscape paintings were like self-portraits. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of self-portraits but this idea really stroke me. In actuality, an artwork says more about yourself than a Facebook picture. It doesn’t matter how hard you try, you cannot photoshop who you are; your hands don’t lie.
